Summer Wedding Inspiration - Soft, Pastel Color Palette

Oh the sweet days of summer! We were inspired to create this inspiration board when we came across the gorgeous wedding bouquet created by Kio Kreations. 

The soft color palette made us think of flowing chiffon gowns in the same colors! We chose styles 7100, 7021 and 7122 (they are all available in many color options!). Chiffon is the perfect summer fabric! 

Our bridal gown choice for your summer wedding inspiration is style 8112 from the Essence couture collection. The texturized chiffon, that the gown is made from, creates feather-like flowers -it's so beautiful! And we also love the sweetheart, strapless neckline that sparkles with jewels!

To tie it all together we found some of the most amazing wedding accessories to pair with the bridal gown and maids dresses:

Real Bride - Nicole and Matt Saskatoon/Moonlake Wedding

We have a very special wedding to share with you today! Nicole and Matt tied the knot on September 18, 2010. Nicole chose Essence style 8613 (now retired) for her big day! When we first saw the pictures, taken by JG Photography, we were in love and couldn't wait to share the photos with you all!

Strapless lace covered bodice with a lace-up back. Shirred taffeta hip detail flows into the the full draped skirt and semi-cathedral train with floral applique 

(which Nicole opted to remove on her dress)

Nicole and Matt are also now expecting their first child so another big congratulations to this beautiful couple! Thank you for sharing your special day with us!

Retire List: Effective June 30, 2011

Each season we need to retire dresses from our collections to make room for the new styles coming in! We have our retire list ready and we want to make sure everyone knows about it - just in case your favorite dress is scheduled to be retired! We get emails from brides all the time saying "I have had my eye on this dress for years and now I don't see it on your website" - we do what we can to locate retired dresses for brides through our network of retail stores but, it's always best to make sure you get the dress you love by ordering through your local retail store!
