Rustic Winery Photo Shoot

The Guglielmo Winery in Morgan Hill, CA was the site of this romantic styled shoot.  Deep hues of Bordeaux, Grey and Navy accent the rich greens from the lush vineyard.  A delicate beaded deconstructed gown inspired by the bohemian bride is a dream dress to be sure.  Be sure to check out the Geode wedding cake!

Breast Cancer Awareness Month

This month marks Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a month that not only honors the survivors and the soon to be survivors of this disease, but also brings awareness to research, services, and treatment options that are important cogs to the fight against cancer.  Bonny Bridal is committed to supporting all current, past, and future brides beyond providing them with the perfect dress.  We at Bonny Bridal, a small family of less than twenty people, are committed to help in the fight to find a cure against cancer and to support services and programs that provide assistance in early detection and access to treatment for all people.

This month, for every twitter and instagram follower that we get until Nov. 1st, the Bonny Bridal Family- will give $.10 to Breast Cancer Treatment and Detection Services.

Our screen name for both twitter and instagram is: @bonnybridal.  This past couple of years, the Bonny Bridal family has been hit closely by the affects of Cancer through family members, loved ones, and especially friends and we hope to make a small dent in the overall fight against breast cancer.

Dress of the Day: Essence Style 8106

8106

Style 8106 from the Essence Collection offers different options with a strapless look and also something sweet and modest with the sheer detachable pleated floral capelet that also creates a open cut out back when on.

8106

The fitted bodice is covered with draped asymmetrical tulle accented by beaded lace topped with fluttering flowers. The intricate lace decorates the full A-line skirt and semi-cathedral train where the pattern of the swooping embroidered vine fans out from the laser cut chiffon floral bouquets topped with petaled flowers.

Summer Wedding Inspiration - Soft, Pastel Color Palette

Oh the sweet days of summer! We were inspired to create this inspiration board when we came across the gorgeous wedding bouquet created by Kio Kreations

The soft color palette made us think of flowing chiffon gowns in the same colors! We chose styles 7100, 7021 and 7122 (they are all available in many color options!). Chiffon is the perfect summer fabric!

Our bridal gown choice for your summer wedding inspiration is style 8112 from the Essence couture collection. The texturized chiffon, that the gown is made from, creates feather-like flowers -it's so beautiful! And we also love the sweetheart, strapless neckline that sparkles with jewels!

To tie it all together we found some of the most amazing wedding accessories to pair with the bridal gown and maids dresses:

Kate's Wedding Gown: Gorgeous Lace

What an amazing vision it was - seeing Kate Middleton for the first time gave us goose bumps! We were anticipating her gown for so long and it didn't disappoint. She managed to pull off a modern look (deep V-neckline) and yet remain modest at the same time (traditions)! We love lace and it will always be synonymous with weddings. Queen Victoria wore a lace veil on her wedding day in 1840, brides fell in love with the look and copied her. When we issued a sneak peek look at dresses for our Fall 2011 Collection all of our friends and fans loved the look of style 121 from the Bonny Classic Collection.

If you saw any pictures from the recent bridal runway shows you might have noticed that lace was already making a new statement in the Fall 2011 designer collections. Ours is no exception! We have a few gorgeous lace offerings for our brides such as style 1112 from the Unforgettable Collection:

Our Essence collection has a soft, flowing lace covered strapless gown that comes with a little lace caplet (especially handy if your church requires covered shoulders!). We are pleased to offer this sneak peek look at style 8106

Every bride is a princess on her wedding day. We have the best job in the world - designing and making dresses that will make you feel like a princess...thank you for allowing us to share our visions with you!
