Factory Direct = Just Say No!

A Public Service Announcement

We have come across many sites that offer Bonny gowns, but they are not our gowns! There are factory direct sellers who steal our pictures and post them to their website. The consumer (you) come across these sites and think, "WOW! Here is my dress at a cheap price!" Well, please remember the old saying, "If it's too good to be true, it usually is." We do not support buying from these sites. We get emails on a daily basis from brides and moms who were duped - thinking they were getting an actual Bonny gown, but in fact, got a cheap copy. We have been compiling a list of these sites (and many thanks to our "fans" who send us these links - because we can not catch them all!).

As a consumer, you have the right to purchase any dress you want - from whoever you want. As a manufacturer, who has been outfitting brides for over 25 years, we only sell to full service retail stores. To level the playing field, we felt we needed to warn you before you buy direct. Many of these factories will tell you if you are not happy with the dress you can send it back....but check the fine print! Many of them will charge a hefty restocking fee, will not credit shipping and import fees and you must pay to ship the item back to China! Once you factor in all these costs - it's about what you paid for the item to begin with! That is what these companies hope for.

We just want to educate the consumer. These sites look like they are selling our dresses, direct from us, but it isn't the case! We list all of our authorized stores on our website, http://www.bonny.com. Also, if you are looking for a dress that has been retired from our collection - email us! We will contact our network of stores, trying to find a discontinued dress for you!

This has become such a huge issue for all manufacturers! We can only try to educate you...because during this time of planning (and stress!) the last thing you need to worry about is that your dress isn't the one you dreamed of!

Thank you for hearing us out on this issue! We love our brides and we want you to have a positive experience with our dresses!
